1 About the App

CraftyCents is a personal budgeting and cost-calculation tool designed to help handmade sellers — particularly Etsy sellers — estimate material costs, labor, product pricing, and marketplace fees. The App is provided as a planning aid for personal use.

2 Fee Calculator — Disclaimer

The fee estimates produced by the App's Fee Calculator are for estimation purposes only. They do not constitute financial, accounting, or legal advice.

• Etsy's fees, rates, and policies may change at any time without notice.
• Exchange rates used to convert foreign fixed fees to USD are approximate and may not reflect real-time values.
• Tax obligations (VAT, GST, sales tax, etc.) are not included in calculations and vary by jurisdiction.
• Always verify current fees directly on Etsy's official help pages before making pricing decisions.

3 No Financial or Business Advice

Nothing in the App constitutes professional financial, legal, or business advice. Pricing suggestions, break-even calculations, and profit estimates are mathematical approximations based on the inputs you provide. You are solely responsible for your business decisions.

4 Your Data

All data you enter is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We cannot recover data lost due to device failure, app deletion, or operating system changes.

5 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
• Attempt to extract or misuse any part of the App's source code or assets.

6 Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within the App are the property of CraftyCents and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the App without prior written permission.

7 Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that fee calculations will exactly match amounts charged by Etsy or any other platform.

8 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CraftyCents and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, or incorrect fee estimates.

9 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated terms will be published with a new effective date in the next App Store release. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App developer is based, without regard to conflict of law principles.
